The second sugia of our Av Mishna חגיגה contains 13 lines of Gemara. The central theme herein taught – fear of heaven. The merit to meet and learn Torah from Rav Nemuraskii, a blessing upon his memory, came when i repeatedly encountered Daniel Rumey, my first havruta in Yeshiva, we separated and studied different sh’ittot in contrasting Yeshivot. Repeatedly, when questioned what he learned from his Rav, he would say: Rav Nemuraskii teaches fear of heaven. The rabbis which at that time taught Gemara at my current Yeshiva – it did not seem to me, that they even cared about fear of heaven, because that term meant nothing to me. Rav Nemuraskii focused upon beginners learning a systematic study of both the halachot of Shabbot and L’shon Ha’ra – before even considering opening a page of Gemara.
Rav Aaron lived his life with such modesty and humility. He lives in my heart, I love Rav Aaron Nemuraskii. He taught with simplicity. Chumash, Targum, other Targum, reading the T’NaCH on a 52 day cycle. Reading the Mishna on a 30 day cycle. Study of all the classic Midrashim – halachic and aggadic. Learning Mishna together with its Tosefta and learning the Bavli together with its Yerushalmi. Learn with an eye to discern comparison and contrast. Start by explaining the difference between Rashi Chumash p’shat from Rashi Talmud p’shat, and ask why? Fundamental question: search to define the logic how the Sages developed their thoughts. This fundamental alone justifies making a sincere study of Sha’s.
A periodic orbit exists as an orbit that repeats itself over time. Halley’s Comet has a periodic orbit around the earth. The formation of nations bears resemblance to great rock formations: examples like Monument Valley, Thor’s Hammer, and Antelope Canyon of the Navajo Nation within Arizona; Devil’s Tower in the Black Hills of Wyoming, and Delicate Arch in eastern Utah. These rock formations take time and express unique geological histories. This commentary seeks to compare great rock formations unto the formation of a stable Cohen Republic; both have strong environmental causation factors, which directly contribute to the genesis of government, Order, and rule.

Harsh slavery g’lut conditions, the Torah refers to hard bitter times, periods of anguish and self doubt – as “אות ברית”. As mineral formations have their “rock cycle”, human beings experience a comparative “mood cycle”. A mood cycle entails something like a dysphoria, a bipolar disorder expressed through “mixed contrasting features”. The cycles of human travails … this commentary could just as equally compare to galactic orbits. This latter משל could highlight the necessary נמשל – repetitive natures or habits. Consider the periodic orbit of Halley’s Comet. The celestial path of that comet, it behaves as a natural satellite of our planet. Imperial great power politics likewise seeks to impose their rule over “satellite” nations. Europe has a long history wherein Jews existed as a despised refugee “satellite” people.
Both internal and external pressures forge rock formations – likewise human development. A profound state of unease or a general dissatisfaction with life, has the clinical name of dysphoria. A tuma emotional dysfunction expressed by having an unease with the physical characteristics of one’s gender. Witchcraft promotes wildly excited or frantic, frenzied mass emotional outbursts. Hollywood almost across the board and Stephen Colbert in particular, has experienced an almost total mental break down. Their post election 2016 shock, has matured into a bipolar mental insanity. The “wonderful Hillary” defeat has triggered a mass bipolar disease, particularly expressed in the population of California. Coupled with lying polls employed by fake news, Hillary supporters went from jubilation to devastation. Shock and disbelief developed into absolute hatred and revulsion of the new President. The liberal communist left went from deriding the Trump campaign unto a total and complete meltdown.
The American democratic model, wherein the wife of a nearly impeached President – almost got herself elected. Fake news during the 2016 election totally ignored her criminal incompetence as Secretary of State. Her “what difference does it make!?” attitude, the noise news almost ignored. Instead this tuma journalism exulted the coming Presidential election based almost solely upon gender; it pronounced over and over – Ms. Clinton as the most qualified candidate. It glossed over her flaws of character, together with the actual dearth of her leadership accomplishments. That press almost fainted with dizziness over the prospects of Ms Clinton shattering the glass ceiling, and becoming Madame President. Never did this press address her bouts of rage, her emotional instability, and even less so the swirling scandals associated with the Clinton family, starting with the Clinton Foundation, together with her blatant breaches of State security. The “bi-polar” fake news, to the present moment continually exhibits signs of mania and depression side by side.
The phenotype of observable properties of mental psychosis, statistically exposes itself within families. Hemophilia, an inherited genetic disorder, the Emperor Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra Feodorovna invited Grigori Rasputin – a mystic faith healer – within the Kremlin walls and towers. The ensuing social scandals, the People lost confidence with their Czar. Rasputin’s public disgraces, combined with the economic collapse of the Russian aristocracy, revolutionary propaganda, and extended stalemate defeat during both the Russo–Japanese War and WW1, all contributed to the events which terminated the 400 year Czar regime.
What shifts a stable regime unto pathways which cause its people to embrace as reasonable, the insanity of Civil War? Persons who behave with both a wildly excited or active; frantic frenzy – surrounded by an emotionally drained and depressed general environment. For example: persons who experience and emotional break down at times of mourning the loss of family or friends. Whenever chemical elements (atoms) bond together, there occurs a tendency for them to react with each other – persons in these conditions have a tendency to form “compounds” permitting them to express ‘mixed contrasting features’. Another “trigger” that produces ‘mixed contrasting features’ in both a person or even a population, when a talented individual or minority group endures public humiliation, derision, ridicule even condemnation touching their intellectual contributions for the betterment of society.
‘Mixed contrasting features’ in societal interactions expresses itself when a person(s) of talent rejects social conformity. Like US lesbian soccer star, Megan Rapinoe, when she jumps from sports extraordinaire to screaming extreme political condemnations. Thermodynamics: the study of the conversion of heat into other forms of energy. Emulsions: any colloidal suspension of a liquid in another liquid, like for example fat and milk. Colloid: A combination of molecules mixed through other substances that will not settle out or join with the other substance. Two basic types of emulsions: oil-in-water emulsions & water-in-oil emulsions. The word attractor, refers to a “set unification”, such that it cannot be split into smaller pieces. A man marries a woman to produce a family. A people dedicates themselves and their children to keep and uphold the culture and customs of this specific people – refusing to permit the introduction of any alien culture or custom within, for example – a brit Cohen society. Ms Rapinoe’s refusal to stand during the national anthem, through this modem of defiance, she acts as a ‘detractor’, who has publicly denounced the leader of the Free World.
A fundamental distinction between a Torah Constitutional Republic and the post Civil War Yankee US democratic model – a specific negative commandment of the Torah forbids expression by the tuma Yatzir to denounce the leader of the Cohen nation. With clear and absolute defiance, Korach and his followers exposed their tuma Yatzir, and attempted – at the same time – to dedicate Avodat HaShem. When a people crosses this red line, suddenly Civil War, according to the hopes of the tuma Yatzir, becomes a mitzva!
